Welcome to Year 4
We are excited to welcome you and your child to Year 4! Our teaching team includes Miss Sykes, Mrs Lavelle and Mrs van Spelde (Class Teachers), Miss Cheetham and Mr Allaby (Additional Teaching Staff), and Mrs Hollingworth, Mrs Firth, Mrs Brickhill, Mrs Bowker, Mrs Dilworth and Mrs Laiker (Learning Support Assistants).
We are proud to share our bookshelf for the Spring Term, that links to the Character Traits – Kindness, Curiosity, Integrity, Bravery, Citizenship & Gratitude. Our new bookshelf contains a selection of high-quality texts to inspire our curriculum.
Our bookshelf texts are:

- The Lost Book of Adventure
- The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
- The Whale by Ethan and Vita Murrow
- The Black Book of Colours by Menena Cottin and Rosana Faria
Establishing strong relationships with our pupils and their families is our priority and we believe that communication is integral to your child’s success. Class teachers and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) are available both before and after school to receive messages and celebrate successes.
